After completing two Bachelor’s Degrees from University of Wisconsin-Madison (art and communications), I pursued a graphic design career where I worked in both agency and in-house design/marketing departments. After a few years, I realized that I missed working with children and I wanted to give back to my community by sharing what I learned from my experience in a professional art-related field. As a result, I returned to school at Northern Illinois University where I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Art Education and have been in the classroom ever since!
