First, students learned the fundamentals of photography — everything from understanding the different camera modes to vocabulary to compositional guidelines. Then, students were exposed to different types of photography such as portrait, landscape, product, food, photojournalism, etc., in addition to a variety of historical artists and contemporary professionals. Finally, students were introduced to Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom as post-production editing tools to enhance their work.
