After learning about the history and science behind early moving pictures as well as the fundamental of animation, students drew their names or personal symbol as a short animation in the traditional, hand-drawn style while applying the concepts of timing, spacing, and any of the 12 Principles of Animation. Through the use of lightboards to complete their keyframes and tweening, students were able to complete a drawing sequence that described their personality, style, interests, etc.
