Through research on recycling plastics, environmentalism, and artwork by David Edgar, students designed and constructed a 3D sculpture by altering and adhering found objects and recycled items together to resemble an aquatic creature in general proportion to each others’ artworks (i.e. no whales). Then, they installed their artwork within the school along with a collaborative commentary on water pollution.
